"Flow" Rug by Emma Gardner

by Emma Gardner Design

Contemporary

The "Flow" rug is based on an 18th century Japanese wood cut, a mesmerizing curvy organic pattern that employs raised silk to give the rug a directionality and shimmer. Fluid in composition, the monochrome coloration lends beauty but leaves the drama to the construction and pattern.

The Ocean color way uses a blend of two closely related blues for an added depth of color. This twisted ply technique can be used for both silk and wool yarns to articulate specific and pleasing color stories.

This hand-knotted design with 100 knot count per square inch is available in 100% silk or 50% wool and 50% silk.  Please inquire about custom options.
