“Noir” by Agnieszka Pilat is a part of a larger series #DISRUPT, using images of outdated technology as a visual metaphor for the passage of time and as a tool to explore the tension between the past and the future. A 1910 camera by Voigtländer in Vienna, Austria, served as my inspiration for the painting.
