About the Firm

“Adeeni” is the word for, “royal people” from the Yoruba Tribe in West Africa. Founder Claudia Juestel selected the name because, “You should be the ‘royal person’ of your own space. Adeeni Design Group will work with you to design a ‘castle’ that reflects your needs for superlative functionality and terrific taste.

Adeeni Design Group was established from the creative and practical imagination of founder and principal designer Claudia Juestel. Adeeni Design Group specializes in high-end residential and commercial interiors in the US, Europe, and Asia. Their projects are known for a sense of timeless warmth which navigates seamlessly between modern and traditional influences. Without imposing a ‘signature’ look, Adeeni Design Group interiors are developed through a deep exploration of the clients’ needs, functions, and wishes. This personalized approach resonates as ‘set design for life,’ a process that enhances the use of space with elegance, comfort and style. Their approach is highly collaborative and equally creative.

The firm’s work has been featured in many national and international publications.

Claudia Juestel brings a cosmopolitan flair and European sensibility to each of her projects. Born in Salzburg, Austria into a family of artists and musicians, she was classically trained in drawing, painting and sculpture at an early age. Her practical immersion in hotel and restaurant management began through her family business, and continued as she graduated with honors from one of Europe’s finest hospitality management and culinary schools. She moved to San Francisco to earn her BA in Fine Arts. An accomplished sculptor and painter, her work has been featured in gallery shows and has been included in private and corporate collections. Her work in the design field grew with stints at Ralph Lauren Home Collection and the hospitality design firm of Candra Scott & Anderson. She founded Adeeni Design Group in 1999.
