The "Swirl" rug is based on a 17th century Kimono pattern, incorporates a repeat pattern of an enlarged two-toned flower motif in silk on a dark background made of wool, creating a design with extraordinary movement and depth. Composed of Tibetan wool, twisted blends of wool and Chinese silk and pure Chinese silk to recall the look of water, water on sand and exposed sand.
