Gottfried Palatin
Gottfried Palatin (1959-) was born in Steinberg, Austria and is an award-winning contemporary product designer. He spent a great deal of time studying abroad and has brought that varied experience to his designs. He mainly works with the glass, ceramics and porcelain. He has collaborated with a number of manufacturers including WMF, Theresianthal, J. L. Lobmeyr Mercantile and Augarten Porcelain.
His designs are defined by the tension between design and art and can be effortlessly adopted for production due to the sophisticated development process.
