The "Würfelschliff" goblet with prism-cut stem and base in mouth-blown hand-cut crystal was designed by Josef Hoffmann as part of a series of splendid goblets for Lobmeyr. The precise cutting of the goblets takes the craftsman to the edge of his abilities, with the polishing, executed in three consecutive steps as to keep the edges crisp. The goblets were first presented at the 1914 Werkbund exhibition i Cologne. Subsequently they were sold at the stores of the Wiener Werkstätte.
All lead-free crystal. Hand wash.
