Stig Lindberg
Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) was a Swedish designer of ceramics, glass, textile and industrial products, as well as painter and illustrator.
One of Sweden's most important postwar designers, Lindberg created whimsical studio ceramics and graceful tableware lines during a long career with Gustavsberg Porcelain where he was the art director from 1949 until 1980. He achieved fame for his eccentric forms and whimsical decorations. His work was featured at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm in 2007.
