Our Story

Claudia Juestel founded Adeeni Design Group in San Francisco to craft timeless interiors inspired by her European heritage, creating highly personal spaces where bespoke craftsmanship meets refined elegance, comfort, and everyday practicality. As a small, client-focused design studio, Claudia’s goal was to offer a deeply personal, hands-on approach, tailoring each project with care and attention while drawing from a wide range of design styles and influences from around the world.Over time, Adeeni Design Group has grown into an established, award-winning firm with a diverse portfolio, earning recognition in leading publications and design books for its thoughtful, enduring work.

Adeeni Design Group joined Chairish, an online marketplace for exceptional vintage and contemporary design, to offer a thoughtfully curated collection of vintage furniture, accessories, tabletop, lighting, and art sourced from around the world. Spanning European, Asian, and American design traditions, each piece is selected for its craftsmanship, character, and timeless appeal. The collection also reflects founder Claudia Juestel’s enduring passion for beautiful table settings and refined décor, celebrating the art of living through objects that elevate both everyday moments and gracious entertaining.

Claudia Juestel opened Adeeni Design Galerie on Post Street, just two blocks from San Francisco’s Union Square, in a luminous space housed within a beautifully preserved 1926 building. With soaring ceilings, abundant natural light, and expansive walls for large-scale art, the gallery evokes the atmosphere of a European salon, further enhanced by the building’s original architectural details and distinctive wrought-iron grilles on the exterior.
Conceived as a destination for collectors and designers, Adeeni Design Galerie pairs vintage European Modernist art, décor, furniture, lighting, and tabletop with distinctive European boutique brands and bespoke furniture and rug designs by Adeen Design Atelier, while also championing local artists. With a particular passion for Austrian design heritage, Claudia introduced iconic houses such as Augarten Porcelain, Lobmeyr crystal and lighting, and the celebrated metalwork of Carl Auböck.
True to its Austrian roots, the gallery embraces a culture of hospitality and exchange, hosting intimate artist vernisages, curated events, and gatherings that bring the creative community together. Guests are always welcomed in the Viennese tradition, with beautifully served coffee, conversation, and a warm, gracious atmosphere that makes the gallery feel as much like a cultural salon as a place of discovery.

After closing the Post Street storefront, Adeeni Design Galerie transitioned into a more intimate upstairs showroom and office on Union Square. While the vintage collection was thoughtfully reduced, the gallery continues to focus on its core offerings of European and bespoke design. At the same time, Adeeni expanded its online presence, reaching a broader audience through curated digital platforms and online marketplaces, allowing collectors and design enthusiasts worldwide to discover and acquire the gallery’s distinctive selections.
