Large "Cheval" sculpture of the profile of horse head in gilt bronze and steel with marble base in the Brutalist style. Minor fading of gilding and wear on base consistent with age and use.

The obscure French artist and designer is known for his unconventional objects, sculptural lighting and furniture designed between the 1950s and 1970s.
