"Fortune" water tumbler D designed by Mark Braun with four different hand-engraved "Crack" decorations on muslin glass designed by Murray Moss.
Mark Braun originally designed the carafe for VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2010 as part of a series on Austrian water: The contours of 21 Austrian rivers, lakes and glaciers were engraved into its surface. In 2011, the project was expanded and presented at the “Salone” in Milan and a slightly conical light tumbler has been added to the set. The collection includes a shot, a whiskey, a water, a wine and a beer tumbler.
Murray Moss created the “Crack”, a collection of four different ‘designed cracks’ to transform what we have been taught to regard as ‘awed’, ‘ruined’, into something that is now embellished, something even more precious. Moss believes that it reminds us to take care of these objects, to temper our brutishness, and to enjoy the opportunity to become, if even for a moment, more graceful.”
Meticulously hand-engraved the “Crack” design has been applied to the "Fortune" set. Additionally custom orders are available on various other designs.
All lead-free crystal. Hand wash.
